Start with ChatGPT or Claude

  1. During Core onboarding, choose ChatGPT or Claude.
  2. For ChatGPT, select Copy address and open ChatGPT. Core copies your personalized address and opens Plugins. Follow the three short ChatGPT steps to turn on Developer mode, add Core, and approve it.
  3. For Claude, select Open Claude. Claude opens with the connector name and personalized address filled in; review it, add it, and approve Core. The same connection works for the signed-in account across web, Desktop, and mobile.
  4. Return to Core and continue onboarding. Core confirms the connection after the AI app makes its first authenticated context check, so you do not need to wait on this screen.

More ways to connect

Use a focused setup guide for Codex, Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code, Windsurf, Hermes, OpenCode, or another compatible client. These developer and local tools may use an app setting, command, or configuration file.

Manual fallback

During onboarding, keep the complete Secure server address Core gives you, including its setup_attempt query parameter. Outside onboarding, the standard remote address is https://core.gradien.ai/mcp/continuity; choose OAuth when the app asks how to authenticate.

After connection

Start normal work. Ask the agent to read relevant context, do the task, then save useful outcomes back to Core.
